Add products, variants and modifiers

Add products with images, categories and barcodes, sell by unit or by weight, set variants and prices with or without tax, and link modifiers.

Quick answer
  1. Open Warehouse → Products and choose “Add New Product”.
  2. Add the image, name, details and “Category”.
  3. Choose the “Selling method”: unit/piece or weight/kg.
  4. Add the barcode.
  5. Add the modifiers and variants with prices.
  6. Save.

Steps

  1. Create categories first from Warehouse → Categories (such as Coffee, Pastries).
  2. Add the product. In Warehouse → Products choose “Add New Product”. Upload an image (JPG or PNG up to 2 MB), enter the name and details, and choose the category.
  3. Set the selling method. Unit/piece, or weight/kg for items priced per kilo.
  4. Add a barcode. Choose “Fixed barcode”, or “Barcode with embedded weight” for labels printed by the scale.
  5. Link modifiers. Choose modifier groups such as “Milk type” or “Extra shot”. Create the groups from Warehouse → Modifiers.
  6. Set variants and prices. Choose “Add new variant” for sizes such as small and large, each with its own price. Turn on “Price includes tax” if your prices include VAT.
  7. Make the product available by turning on “Product available”, then choose “Add New Product”.

Tip

Use import to add many products at once. Weighed products can't be sold on the ordering website.
