# User roles, permissions and admin PIN

Choose between Admin, Store Owner and Cashier roles, limit users to specific branches, and protect cancellations and session closing with an admin PIN.

Quick answer

1.  Go to Settings → User Permissions.
2.  Open a user.
3.  Set the Role (Admin, Store Owner or Cashier).
4.  Choose the Branches they can access.
5.  Save.

## Steps

1.  **Give each person their own login.** Don’t share one account: every order and session is recorded by user.
2.  **Pick the right role.** Store Owner for the owner, Admin for managers, Cashier for counter staff.
3.  **Limit branches.** Tick only the branches and counters each user works in.
4.  **Protect sensitive actions.** Cancelling an order and closing a session need an admin PIN, so cashiers can’t do them alone.
5.  **Change your password** from your name at the top right → Change Password.
