# Setting up warehouses and tracking stock

Add a warehouse for each branch, see the stock of every product, and transfer products between stores in Cashier POS.

Quick answer

1.  Go to Warehouse → Warehouses.
2.  Select Add warehouse and name it.
3.  Open a warehouse to see stock per product.
4.  Use Transfer products to move stock to another store.

## Steps

1.  **Add a warehouse.** Go to Warehouse → Warehouses and select Add warehouse. A common setup is one warehouse per branch (for example SoHo Stock).
2.  **See stock.** Open a warehouse to see each product’s Available quantity.
3.  **Bring stock in.** Stock is added through purchase invoices (see the next article) or by importing your product list.
4.  **Move stock between branches.** Select Transfer products, choose Transfer from store and Transfer to store, the products and the Quantity to transfer, then save. Both counts update.
5.  **Sales take stock out.** Every sale reduces stock in its branch’s warehouse.

Tips

Products sold by weight are tracked in kilos.
