# Adding a cashier and a user

Add a cashier (point of sale) to a branch, create a user with a role and branches, and understand the Free and Pro limits for cashiers and users.

## Steps

2.  **Add a user.** Users are the people who sign in. In “Settings → User Permissions” choose “Add New User”.
3.  **Fill in the details.** Username, full name, phone number and password.
4.  **Choose the role.** Admin, Store Owner or Cashier.
5.  **Choose the branches.** Choose “All” or select the branches and points of sale this user works at.
6.  **Save** by clicking “Add New User”.
