# Manage customers and account statements

Add customers with their phone numbers and addresses, follow their order history and account statement, and see who is overdue.

**Quick answer**

1.  Open Sales → Customers.
2.  Choose “Add New Customer” and enter the name, phone and address.
3.  Open the customer to see their orders and account statement.
4.  Use “Export” to download the list.

## Steps

1.  **Add a customer.** Open Sales → Customers and choose “Add New Customer”. Enter the name and phone number, then “Add new address” for delivery.
2.  **Add a customer while selling.** In a new order choose “New customer” or search for an existing one. Delivery orders need a customer and an address.
3.  **Review the account statement.** Open the customer to see the account statement: previous balance, debit, credit and the total balance due.
4.  **See who owes you.** In the Dashboard, the “Customers” tab shows your top customers and overdue customers.
5.  **Export.** Choose “Export” to download the customer list.

## Tip

Each phone number can be linked to only one customer.
