# Set up VAT on invoices

Add your VAT details, choose prices with or without tax, and show the tax information on receipts.

1.  Open Store Settings → Tax Information.
2.  Turn on “Subject to VAT”.
3.  Enter the registered name, address, commercial registration and tax number.
4.  Set product prices to include tax or not.

## Steps

1.  **Open the tax settings.** Choose your name at the top of the page, then Store Settings → Tax Information.
2.  **Turn on tax.** Switch on “Subject to VAT”.
3.  **Enter your details.** The registered name, registered address (building number and street), commercial registration and tax number. The country is taken from your store settings.
4.  **Price your products.** When adding a product, choose “Price includes tax” to enter prices with tax, or enter them without it.
5.  **Show tax on receipts.** Turn on tax information on the receipt so customers can see the tax amount.
