# Vendors and purchase invoices (Pro)

Add your vendors and record purchase invoices that add stock to the right warehouse. Save a draft, export, and cancel when needed. A Pro plan feature.

**Quick answer**

1.  Open Purchases → Vendors and choose “Add New Vendor”.
2.  Open Purchases → Purchase Invoices and choose “Add Purchase Invoice”.
3.  Choose the vendor, the date and the “Linked store”.
4.  Add the products with the quantity and “Unit cost”.
5.  Save, or “Save as draft”.

## Steps

1.  **Add a vendor.** In Purchases → Vendors choose “Add New Vendor”. Enter the name, phone, email, address and notes.
2.  **Create a purchase invoice.** In Purchases → Purchase Invoices choose “Add Purchase Invoice”. The invoice number can be generated “automatically”, and you can add a “Vendor reference”.
3.  **Choose where the stock goes.** Choose the “Linked store” (the warehouse).
4.  **Add products.** For each product enter the “Quantity” and “Unit cost”. Add discounts if the vendor gave any.
5.  **Save.** Saving adds the quantities to the warehouse. Not ready? “Save as draft”.

## Tip

Cancelling a purchase invoice removes its quantities from the warehouse. Open the vendor to see all their invoices. Purchases is a Pro plan feature.
